Elizabeth Schwan-Rosenwald is a leader in the social impact sector with a background in forging innovative corporate partnerships that drive substantial social change. With a rich and varied background in nonprofit strategy, fundraising, and programmatic leadership, Elizabeth has consistently collaborated across industries to pioneer impactful solutions. Her expertise lies in building strategic partnerships and cultivating networks that amplify social good.

As the founder of JA Consulting, Elizabeth has spearheaded initiatives that emphasize strategic planning, corporate program development, revenue generation, and volunteer engagement. Her clients include the American Society for Mechanical Engineers, Reading Partnership, and HandsOn Suburban Chicago.

As Chief Programs & Network Officer at Points of Light, Elizabeth oversaw a worldwide NGO network. She was responsible for building strategic partnerships that identified and harnessed resources that enhance NGO organizational capacity. At Common Impact, she served as Chief Programs Officer, managing corporate skilled-based volunteering programs for over 500 nonprofits, delivering capacity-building scopes of work that fostered nonprofit growth and sustainability.

During her impactful decade at the Taproot Foundation, Elizabeth held the position of Chief External Affairs Officer, where she directed partnership strategy, brand positioning, and revenue generation. She launched Pro Bono Week, an internationally recognized celebration of skilled volunteering, and built new resources that expanded pro bono as an employee engagement and leadership development initiative.

Elizabeth’s commitment to addressing gender inequity and power imbalances in the arts led her to found 20% Theatre Company, an all-women’s theater company dedicated to empowering women in the industry.

Elizabeth holds a BA in English and Theatre from Smith College.
