Engage employees in global social impact programs

Team4Tech creates turnkey skills-based volunteering programs for employees to fit your company’s needs. Whether for a few hours or weeks, virtual, in person or hybrid, for a regional office or globally, welcoming early-career or seasoned leadership members, all of our skills-based volunteering programs build connections and make a meaningful social impact. By volunteering with Team4Tech, corporate employees bring technology solutions and training to education-focused nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) to improve the quality of learning worldwide.

Employee volunteers gain leadership development, connection, and purpose

When your employees volunteer with Team4Tech, they expect to make a social impact with our NGO partners. But they gain so much more—leadership development, connection, and a renewed sense of purpose. And social impact leaders get a turnkey employee engagement program tailored to their objectives. All of our projects are facilitated by Team4Tech Program Directors, making it easy to manage the project, create a fun and meaningful volunteer experience, and build capacity with our NGO partners.

Linking company goals and NGO needs, Team4Tech matches your employee volunteers with vetted community-based NGOs all over the world—where your team can make a substantial impact.

A continuum of offerings for skills-based volunteering designed to engage employees in multiple ways

At Team4Tech, we support corporate social impact and employee engagement leaders in developing skills-based volunteering programs that create shared value for companies, employees, and nonprofits. We work with your company to define organizational goals and, based on the number and location of employees and availability of time for volunteering, we facilitate a variety of skilled volunteering formats aligned with your needs.

Strategic Pro Bono Projects

Our flagship program engages a team of 10-15 employees across regions and functions in a strategic consulting project to support NGO staff.

Team4Tech Program Directors work with the NGOs to scope and manage the project so deliverables stay on track; they help recruit volunteers and facilitate our leadership development curriculum to deliver a meaningful employee experience; and they coordinate logistics and provide impact reporting to create a fully turnkey program for social impact leaders.

Design for Impact Workshops

Team4Tech’s Design for Impact Workshops are fast-paced custom events focused on tackling a challenge for one of Team4Tech’s NGO partners and co-designing solutions with NGO staff. Employee volunteers are introduced to design thinking methodology and then engage in a team-based exercise to prototype solutions. Programs can range from two to six hours over one or multiple days. Teams of up to 25 employees from your company can engage to build new connections, have fun, and make an impact.

Workshops can be customized to help you take your Day of Service to the next level, engage a team during an onsite event, or provide volunteer opportunities for remote teams.

“I really enjoyed this design impact challenge. It was an engaging process that worked quite well for the short time we had together. It gave us a great way to volunteer with co-workers and build rapport with new colleagues as well as support those in other parts of the world who need our help.”

Innovate for Impact Events

Team4Tech’s Innovate for Impact Events expand our design thinking workshop format to a wider scale, connecting employee volunteers from multiple companies to network, ideate together, and engage with multiple NGOs in a short-format virtual event. In just a few hours of engaged participation, volunteers can make a big impact designing tech-driven solutions to problems NGOs are facing.

 Community of Practice Sponsorship

Companies looking for ways to engage more employees with short-term, low-lift opportunities to volunteer and support NGOs can sponsor a designated number of seats for their employees in Team4Tech’s global, online Community of Practice platform. Participating employees can access our virtual space for a range of opportunities to volunteer, consult, connect, and complete professional development courses.  Volunteer opportunities range from just one-hour commitments to up to 12 hours over eight weeks.
