Christian Chacón Gallardo
Born in El Salvador and currently based in Guatemala, Christian works in education and community development with a focus on critical use of technology, decolonial approaches, and environmental sustainability. He has over ten years of experience working in Latin America and West Africa supporting community-based education, vocational training, and social development initiatives. His work combines participatory action research, popular education, expressive arts, and Latin American critical social theory.
He contributes to Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning processes using artificial intelligence in a critical and community-centered way, with the goal of strengthening collaboration, shared learning, and local capacity. Christian is committed to educational equity, Indigenous knowledge, and ecological, social, and technological justice. Currently, Christian works as Latin America Regional Hub Manager for Team4Tech, supporting networks of education-focused NGOs through community building, online training, and regional partnerships.
