Simon Tam

Simon is the Technical Encore Fellow® at Team4Tech responsible for modeling, assessing, and measuring the effectiveness of educational IT infrastructures for Team4Tech’s non-profit partners. He brings 35 years of experience in the area of electrical engineering design and engineering technology.

Prior to joining the Encore Fellowship at Team4Tech, he was Senior Principal Engineer at Intel Corporation in the Bay Area engaged with the design of advanced SERVER microprocessors. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, and is a Senior Member of the IEEE.
