Dr. Jodie Fonseca
Dr. Jodie Fonseca leads and oversees all aspects of Team4Tech’s program strategy, delivery, and monitoring and evaluation, helping our NGO partners bridge the digital equity gap in global education. She brings nearly 30 years of experience in international development, including expertise in teaching, teacher training and curriculum development, large-scale project management, technical advisory to governments and civil society, and research and evaluation. She is passionate about supporting local NGOs and ministries of education to reach young people who might otherwise be left behind by the rapid pace of technological expansion.
Prior to joining Team4Tech, Jodie managed large, donor-funded foundational learning projects at NGOs such as RTI International, Plan International, and Save the Children in contexts as varied as Mozambique, Ethiopia, Vietnam, Laos, Nepal, and Honduras. She brings extensive real-world experience in leveraging technology to strengthen educational access, teaching practices, system accountability, and student learning and employment.
Jodie holds a Doctorate in Education from the Institute of Education at University College London, an MA in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, and a BA in English from Tulane University. In her free time, Jodie enjoys spending time with her family, swimming, and sailing.
