Fostering Success in Youth Entrepreneurship with BUILD

Digital Skills Education in the U.S.

By 2030, 65% of all jobs in the United States will require post-secondary education and training beyond high school. As the economy evolves, job growth and a stagnant graduation rate will result in a shortage of 5 million skilled workers across the country. Consequently, youth entrepreneurship provides an opportunity to learn dynamic, creative skills. We need to create a generation of young people who can thrive in an uncertain world equipped with the mindset and skills to adapt, pivot, invent, and reinvent within a digital, socially responsible society.

BUILD Propels High School Students Forward

BUILD works with under-performing public high schools with graduation rates far below the national average. They target students who have given up on school and, in some cases, have given up on themselves. Further, the students they serve face complex barriers on their paths to college and future success. BUILD, in summary, uses entrepreneurship to ignite the potential of youth from under-resourced communities and propel them through high school, college and successful careers.

Team4Tech Helps Expand BUILD’s Network

Team4Tech is partnering with BUILD to create a digital platform that:

  • First allows current BUILD students to connect with one another and alumni for coaching and mentorship.
  • Helps expand connections with key stakeholders in their communities to facilitate collaboration, connectivity, and engagement opportunities.
  • Finally, grows BUILD’s reach and student opportunities.
