We are a global impact accelerator supporting education-focused NGOs to leverage digital technologies to ensure inclusive and equitable education. Our mission is to improve the quality of education for learners in under-resourced communities by building NGO capacity through technology solutions and training. 

Team4Tech’s accelerator programming contributes to UN SDG 4 – to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. Using evidence-based practices that promote education for employability, our accelerator programming co-designed with community-based and education-focused NGOs operating in low-resource environments includes:

  • Access to facilitated regional hubs (in Africa, South Asia, Latin America & the Caribbean, and the USA & Canada) for localized collaboration;
  • Access to a robust, global online Community of Practice to engage with free education and technology tools, workshops, certification courses, and resources;
  • Access to skilled volunteers and corporate and educational resource partners to deliver pro-bono capacity-building projects and
  • Access to funding, amplification, and coaching to further promote NGO sustainability.

Our work is scaling through 2027, from building capacity for 50 nonprofits annually to supporting 800+ nonprofits that directly serve tens of millions of learners in under-resourced contexts worldwide. 

What You’ll Do

Team4Tech seeks an exceptional Program Director to scope and manage highly impactful education technology projects with defined targets, strategies, and goals. You will join a dedicated team of Program Directors focused on co-designing solutions with global education NGOs to accelerate their impact in bridging the digital equity gap for learners in under-resourced communities

Specifically, the Program Director will:

  • Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of virtual and in-person skilled volunteering projects with corporate partners, ranging from dynamic workshops and events to long-term social impact projects
  • Manage the engagement of corporate pro bono volunteers in meaningful projects with our NGO partners, including volunteer selection, training, project implementation, and assessment
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality project outcomes and adapt them within the broader Community of Practice, contributing to the collective impact and effort to improve the quality of education
  • Collaborate closely with Program Directors and Regional Hub Leads to uphold and disseminate evidence-based best practices and resources around education for employability, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the organization
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to analyze program data and generate insights to inform broader organizational inputs including reporting, strategic planning, and program development
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including NGOs, corporate partners, and employee volunteers, and communicate and report on project progress and outcomes

You bring 5+ years of applicable experience in educational technology program management, ideally leading technology strategy and implementation in an educational setting. You have an excellent understanding of project management techniques and methods, and you exhibit organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

You demonstrate an understanding of the context surrounding education and international development, and create logical arguments that clearly articulate the ‘why’ behind mission, impact, and technology solutions. 

A professional with international development experience. You have a track record of working in diverse cultural settings and are comfortable traveling internationally. Your exposure to international development contexts has equipped you with insights and sensitivities crucial for collaborating and communicating across cultures.

Preferred skills and experiences:

  • Proven leadership and collaboration skills within multi-disciplinary team environments.
  • Background in social impact, with demonstrated experience in nonprofit work, philanthropy, and/or corporate social responsibility (CSR).
  • In-depth knowledge in educational technology, with practical experience in educational settings and under-resourced contexts
  • International exposure, particularly in developing countries with limited technology resources.
  • Ability to develop contextualized, evidence-based resources for a global audience.
  • Demonstrated ability in developing and executing outreach strategies.
  • Skilled in building relationships with key decision-makers in the education technology and global development sectors.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Expertise in navigating complex deals with multiple stakeholders using a consultative approach.
  • Ability to analyze program data for strategic decision-making and impact assessment.
  • Familiarity with managing and implementing volunteering models.
  • A bachelor’s degree is required and a master’s degree in international development, education, public policy, etc is preferred. 
  • Spanish language ability is a plus.

Location and Travel

Team4Tech is a remote-first workplace. All roles are remote full time, with the expectation that the employee is willing and able to travel periodically.

The candidate is expected to travel mostly internationally approximately 20-30% of the year for various work-related activities.

Compensation

Salary is commensurate with experience and geographic location, ranging from $80,000-$110,000 per year. Benefits include health insurance stipend, internet stipend, unlimited leave, and voluntary 401k contributions.
