Thamara is responsible for supporting Team4Tech’s program operations.
Before arriving at Team4Tech, Thamara was a program coordinator with ScholarMatch, where she delivered training, developed curriculum, and collaborated with stakeholders to support first generation college students.
Thamara was born in San Francisco but primarily raised in beautiful Nicaragua, a place she considers home. As a first-generation graduate, Thamara is an advocate for accessibility to education, especially in the context of limited resources. She is passionate about supporting poverty alleviation, economic empowerment, and public health.
Thamara earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Global Development from Seattle Pacific University. She enjoys eating noodles, loves to live out of her suitcase, and dances Cuban salsa whenever possible.
