Mehreen Butt
Mehreen Butt is responsible for leading capacity building projects with nonprofit partners, as well as Team4Tech’s monitoring and evaluation efforts.
Mehreen has eight years of education experience and has served as a STEM educator and instructional dean in schools in Mississippi and Tennessee. She is passionate about creating a more diverse and equitable tech pipeline by increasing access for underrepresented students, especially women and girls. She has experience leading initiatives on workforce readiness and employability, designing hackathons, and building community awareness on the importance of digital inclusion.
Mehreen holds a BA in Biology and German from the University of Rochester and is a Teach For America Mississippi ‘13 alumna. In her free time, she enjoys discovering new coffee shops, reading books on entrepreneurship, and listening to podcasts.
